Azure DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer

A talented and ambitious Azure DevOps Engineer is required to join a digital challenger and scale up within the financial services sector.

We are looking for a hands on Azure DevOps Engineer who has a passion for learning and personal development with cloud technologies to manage our clients modern and complex Microsoft Azure estate.

The role.

As part of its exiting and progressive change agenda, our client is migrating its key systems to a multi-vendor API driven microservices model. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work to architect, develop and administer these systems across the Azure estate.

You will use your management, deployment, and monitoring skills to strike the perfect balance to achieve both speed and reliability.

Your key responsibilities will be

• To deploy and manage multiple integrated systems
• To manage web and database components of several applications.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues that affect multiple business functions.
• Design and deploy Azure data protection features.
• Work cross departmentally, managing our clients infrastructure partner teams.
• Design and monitor high performing, secure virtual networks that can handle high levels of performance and workload.
• Discover and deploy best in class cloud based solutions.
• Monitor and then communicate the methods that best support the deployment of applications and infrastructure.

• Expert level skills in powershell
• Windows and Linux operating systems administration
• Microsoft Azure DevOps
• IaaS experience
• PaaS services experience (database services Kubernetes)
