The Communications Developer supports the Campaign Team by creating, updating, and troubleshooting HTML email templates in Engage Marketing Cloud. This role is responsible for uploading, testing, and deploying email campaigns, managing campaign queues, and performing hybrid tasks such as list creation. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Develop and amend HTML email templates in Engage Marketing Cloud.
Upload, test, and deploy email campaigns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with Marketing Communications (Marcomms) teams to support campaign execution.
Assist in managing campaigns in the open queue and provide backup support when needed.
Prepare reports and escalate issues in collaboration with Senior Developers and Team Lead.
Maintain and update process documentation to support continuous improvement.
Handle complex campaigns from the open queue within defined timelines.
Complete hybrid training for campaign and list creation processes and mentor team members.
Attend meetings across US and UK time zones as required.
Contribute to workflow optimization and reduction of campaign passes.
Proficiency inHTML,CSS(including media queries), andXMLfor email development.
Strong understanding ofweb design principlesanduser experience fundamentals.
Ability totest and troubleshootemails across multiple browsers and email clients.
Knowledge ofSQL Serverfor data extraction and amendments.
Familiarity withemail marketing platforms(preferably Engage Marketing Cloud).
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skillsfor distributed team collaboration.

Bachelors degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or equivalent; diploma in web development or data analytics preferred.
01 year of experience in a marketing or technical role.
Hands-on experience with email and data development, including campaign execution using email marketing software.
Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, and media queries.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
