📋 Description

• Support European client base; ensure smooth operational handling across SEPA schemes
• Contribute to operational oversight of TARGET2 activities
• Handle EU client escalations, investigations, settlement queries, and regulatory compliance
• Produce reports and management information as needed
• Act as main contact for assigned key clients and understand their needs
• Working hours: shifts 6am-7pm Mon-Fri; occasional out of hours may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Experience of UK Payments, FX and international/cross-border payments; knowledge of Bacs, CHAPS
• Understanding of clearing and settlement processes for major UK/EU schemes
• Working knowledge of SEPA schemes (SCT, SCT Inst, SDD) and related processes
• First point of escalation to resolve customer/internal/bank queries; experience with reconciliation
• Client/customer-facing or operational support experience in financial services/regulatory
• Desirable: experience with exception payment processing; SWIFT messaging (MT199)
