📋 Description

• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs from construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Review project documents to understand scope, materials, labor requirements, and specifications
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids and cost estimates
• Source and validate real supplier pricing for materials and project requirements
• Convert takeoff quantities into accurate dollar estimates
• Prepare and manage RFQ submissions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience preferred
• Proven experience working on Florida-based construction projects
• Strong understanding of Florida building codes and local construction requirements
• Familiarity with Florida's permit processes and code-compliant construction
• Proven ability to perform detailed takeoffs and convert them into accurate cost estimates
• Strong understanding of real-world supplier pricing and construction cost structures
