📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering workstreams; shape solution approach and set technical
• Design and build scalable batch and streaming pipelines; operate production systems
• Provide technical governance: design reviews, guidance, risk escalation, delivery assurance
• Build strong stakeholder relationships; act as credible client-facing technical lead
• Coach and mentor engineers; support learning plans and capability standards
• Partner with product/analytics teams to build reliable, scalable data platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on coding in Python, Java, or similar; strong SQL capability
• Proven experience with batch and streaming pipelines in production
• Experience with AWS, Databricks/Spark; dbt for transformations
• Orchestration with Airflow (or equivalent); data modelling and data quality
• Experience with relational DBs (PostgreSQL/SQL Server); CI/CD, testing, observability
• Mentoring engineers; comfortable with governance, design reviews, and delivery pace
