Position Summary The
Project Manager – Engineering is responsible for managing the engineering execution of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from initial proposal through final drawing package delivery. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams, ensuring project deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, and exceptional customer service skills to deliver outstanding results.
Essential Responsibilities - Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously from proposal through project completion.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering teams to deliver accurate, complete, and timely drawing plan sets and design packages.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between LPL Solar, clients, owners, and third-party engineering partners.
- Prepare engineering proposals, develop project scopes, and maintain visibility into engineering backlog and resource requirements.
- Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and client requirements to ensure successful project execution.
- Document, monitor, and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, design comments, and outstanding project information needs.
