PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING1. You live and work on Central Time. Texas is strongly preferred. This role runs the CEO's day in real time, so you must be available during core Central business hours — not shifted from another time zone.
2. You come from the dance world. You have competed, trained, taught, choreographed, worked at a studio, or worked events and conventions in dance. You know how this industry works and can speak its language with our partners from day one.
ABOUT DANCEONEDanceOne is the leading platform for world-class dance events and experiences. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Los Angeles,
DanceOne is the largest holding company of dance brands in the world — home to Ovation, Jump, NUVO, 24 Seven, RADIX, KĀOS, Starpower, NexStar, Revolution, Believe, Imagine and DreamMaker, alongside events including DancerPalooza, PowerPak, The
DanceOne Summit and the World Dance Championship.
We serve hundreds of thousands of dancers each year and hold ourselves to the highest possible safeguarding standards, so that every dancer has a safe environment in which to learn. Our teams work cross-functionally across Corporate, Tours, Production, Warehouse and Driver operations — a genuinely collaborative environment built on a shared passion for the work.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Executive Assistant to the CEO is the operational right hand to
DanceOne's Chief Executive Officer — owning the calendar, inbox and travel so the CEO's time goes to the highest-value work. Beyond core executive support, this role is a partner-facing extension of the CEO's office: maintaining the partnership contact list and mailing calendar, driving follow-ups to completion after every meeting, and preparing the CEO ahead of each conversation with the context and read of the room needed to walk in ready. This is a role for someone who anticipates rather than reacts and who is comfortable holding confidential information.
We are not looking for someone who will learn this industry on the job; we are looking for someone who already understands who is in the room and why it matters.
This is a seat at the center of the largest dance company in the world. You will work directly with the CEO, see how a multi-brand business runs from the inside, and build relationships with the partners and studio leaders who shape the industry. If you grew up in dance, this role keeps you in the room where it happens.
