Purpose:Theposition is for a professional in charge of maintaining budgets and records.They also prepare invoices on behalf of clients or employers. Those in thisrole will be helping with day-to-day tasks related directly to their field,which means that precision is essential. They also support by performingclerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparingreports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors,fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Workexperience as an Accounting Assistant

·Excellentcommunication skills

• Knowledgeof basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiaritywith finance regulations in Australia is a must
• Goodmath skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-onexperience with Microsoft dynamics business central (ERP) is preferred

·Organizationskills

• Abilityto handle sensitive, confidential information

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

• Basicdata entry tasks for accounting assistants include logging transactions,recording and reviewing journal entries, creating invoices, and craftingspreadsheets.

·Bookkeepingand bank reconciliations

• Preparingquarterly reports and assisting in year-end audits
• Communicatewith vendors and customers about invoices and payments. This could be by emailor phone.
• Reconcilinginvoices and identifying discrepancies from suppliers and vendors

·Creatingand updating expense reports

·Processingreimbursement forms

·Adhoc admin tasks

• Datavalidation and verification of outbound recurring license invoices
