📋 Description

• Plan, design, and coordinate complex network augments and rearrangements to existing network
• Maintain spares inventory, network redundancy, and sufficient capacity in transport and access
• Work on central office facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and related systems
• Provide technical assistance and support to other teams for major systems improvements
• Mentor coworkers in new technology
• Ensure network availability and perform capacity planning and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 2- or 4-year technical degree preferred; high school diploma required
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience
• Experience with central office installation, maintenance, and repair
• Experience with DC power systems, SONET network systems, DSL and Fiber Access equipment
• Experience with DWDM, OTN, and Carrier Ethernet technologies
• Experience designing, planning, documenting, and maintaining fiber and coaxial plant
