With millions of wallets created and a global audience, Bitcoin.com is one of the world's leading crypto content and onboarding platforms. This role is a hands-on KYC Analyst position within the Compliance team, acting as first line of review for customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence, flagging higher-risk cases for escalation and helping maintain a clean, well-documented CDD/EDD process as Bitcoin.com scales across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC/CDD reviews on new and existing customers, including identity verification, document checks, and customer risk-rating in line with the risk framework
• Assist in KYB and UBO verification for corporate/partner onboarding if required
• Disposition PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening alerts; document rationale for true/false-positive decisions and escalate confirmed or ambiguous hits to the AML Manager
• Conduct first-line transaction monitoring alert reviews and basic source-of-funds checks; flag activity that may warrant EDD or a SAR/STR recommendation.
• Monitor transaction alerts and support investigations into unusual activity
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready case files and escalate potential SAR/STR triggers to the Deputy Compliance Officer
• Support periodic reviews, remediation exercises, and licensing-related data requests (MiCA/EMI)
• Help maintain and improve internal KYC procedures, checklists, and training materials
• Handle KYC-related customer queries and RFIs (requests for information) professionally and within SLA

What We Are Looking For

Required

• 1–3 years in KYC/AML, screening operations, or fraud/financial-crime. Experience within fintech, crypto, payments, or iGaming background welcome
• Working knowledge of KYC/CDD/EDD processes: PEP/sanctions/adverse-media screening, and customer risk factors
• Ability to write clear, concise alert dispositions and escalation notes in English
• Comfortable using IDV/screening platforms and case-management tools
• Careful, consistent, detail-oriented
• Comfortable following procedures in a fast-changing, scale-up environment
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate appropriately in ambiguous situations
