About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist to build, manage, and optimize automated marketing campaigns, email workflows, lead nurturing programs, and CRM automation.
This is a hands-on marketing operations role focused on turning marketing systems into measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
You’ll work across:
HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, and other automation platforms

What You’ll Own
Marketing Automation & Workflows
Build, launch, and optimize automated marketing workflows
Create:
Lead nurture campaigns
Drip sequences
Trigger-based automations
Lifecycle workflows
Re-engagement campaigns
Develop and maintain lead scoring models
Troubleshoot workflow logic, triggers, and automation errors
Continuously improve automation performance and reliability
Email Marketing & Campaign Execution
Build and execute campaigns using:
HubSpot
Marketo
Pardot (Account Engagement)
ActiveCampaign
Klaviyo
Create and optimize email sequences for different audiences and lifecycle stages
Ensure emails are mobile-responsive, brand-consistent, and conversion-focused
Monitor email deliverability and engagement performance
CRM, Lead Management & Sales Alignment
Integrate marketing automation platforms with CRMs including:
Salesforce
HubSpot CRM
Zoho CRM
Build and maintain accurate lead routing and handoff workflows
Ensure qualified leads reach sales teams quickly and correctly
Improve marketing-to-sales alignment across the funnel
Track campaign influence from initial engagement through opportunity and conversion
Lead Scoring & Audience Segmentation
Build and optimize lead scoring based on:
Engagement
Behavior
Demographics
Lifecycle stage
Buying intent
Create targeted audience segments based on:
Industry
Persona
Behavior
Engagement
Lifecycle stage
Maintain clean and organized marketing databases
Remove duplicate, inactive, and outdated records
Analytics & Reporting
Track key marketing metrics including:
Open rates
Click-through rates
Conversion rates
Lead-to-opportunity conversion
Pipeline contribution
Revenue impact
Build dashboards and reports using HubSpot, Marketo, Power BI, or Tableau
Analyze campaign and workflow performance
Provide actionable recommendations based on performance data
Marketing Operations & Optimization
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing processes
Test new workflows, messaging, and audience strategies
Improve campaign efficiency and scalability
Support attribution and revenue reporting
Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CCPA
Stay current with marketing automation trends and platform updates
Requirements
Must-Have Experience
2+ years of marketing automation or marketing operations experience
Hands-on experience with at least one major marketing automation platform:
HubSpot
Marketo
Pardot (Account Engagement)
ActiveCampaign
Experience building:
Automated workflows
Lead nurture campaigns
Email campaigns
Lead scoring models
Audience segments
Experience working with CRM systems and lead management workflows
Strong understanding of:
Email marketing

Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

Strong written and verbal English communication

What a Typical Day Looks Like
You might start by reviewing active campaigns, workflow performance, lead routing, and email engagement metrics.
From there, you’ll build or optimize nurture sequences, troubleshoot automation issues, update audience segments, review lead scoring, and ensure qualified leads are routed correctly to sales.
You’ll also analyze campaign performance, clean CRM data, run A/B tests, update reporting dashboards, and identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
In short: you build and optimize the automation infrastructure that turns marketing activity into qualified pipeline and revenue.
