📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists; sign off output before client delivery.
• Act as senior point of contact for the team's client payrolls; assist onboarding/escalations.
• Advise clients on regulatory changes; perform regular gap analyses.
• Own the team's support queue and drive improvements against KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis; escalate major issues.
• Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities; coach team to build solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as a Payroll Manager in bureau/outsourced environments with enterprise
• Strong track record coaching and developing a payroll team.
• Experience managing multiple payrolls across industries within a bureau.
• Strong background in payroll compliance and audit; knowledge of payroll/HR systems and GL
• Bonus: ROI payroll experience; CIPP qualification (or in progress); AI automation experience.
