We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage and deliver technology projects across ERP implementations, IT infrastructure, systems integration and business transformation.
This is a 100% remote position, although occasional attendance at the Centurion office may be required for specific meetings, workshops or project requirements.
This is not a general Project Management position. The successful candidate must have proven hands-on Project Management experience across BOTH ERP implementations and IT Infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands-on technology Project Manager who can independently manage multiple projects, coordinate technical and business teams, manage third-party vendors and drive projects from initiation through to successful go-live and operational handover.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end technology projects from initiation and planning through implementation, testing, go-live, hyper-care and operational handover.
Manage multiple concurrent projects across ERP, enterprise applications and IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans and delivery milestones.
Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project scope, change requests, budgets, forecasts and expenditure.
Coordinate internal IT teams, business stakeholders, ERP consultants, infrastructure specialists and third-party vendors.
Manage ERP implementations covering:
Business requirements and process workshops
Solution design
Configuration and development
Data migration
Systems integration
Testing and UAT
Cutover and go-live
Hyper-care and operational handover
Manage infrastructure projects involving areas such as:
Proven experience managing IT Infrastructure projects – essential.
Experience delivering ERP projects across the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements, configuration/development, integrations, data migration, UAT, cutover and go-live.
Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage, JD Edwards or similar.
Strong IT infrastructure delivery experience involving cloud, networks, servers, data centres, security, migrations and/or infrastructure transformation.
Strong understanding of SDLC and technology implementation lifecycles.
Experience managing third-party technology vendors and implementation partners.
Strong project financial management, budgeting and forecasting capability.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
