Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT initiatives within a Quality-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a separation project from initiation through implementation, ensuring successful delivery while operating in a fast-paced, low-structure environment. This role requires a highly independent leader with strong SDLC knowledge, Waterfall project management expertise, and proven IT delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Drive planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and project closure activities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
• Coordinate project resources, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple teams.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, quality teams, and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee updates, and executive reporting.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively communicate project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.

SDLC & Waterfall Governance

• Ensure adherence to established SDLC processes and project governance standards.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution planning, design reviews, testing coordination, deployment planning, and post-implementation support.
• Apply Waterfall methodology effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Escalate critical issues appropriately and develop resolution strategies.
• Monitor project health and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Quality & Process Excellence

• Support initiatives within the Quality function and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Establish quality metrics and monitor project performance against defined objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned activities.

Change & Organizational Readiness
