Requirements

What we're looking for

You'll ideally bring:

• 2+ years' experience in sales development, business development or a similar commercial role, ideally within GovTech or public-sector technology.
• Experience engaging government or municipal customers and an understanding of how the public sector operates.
• Exposure to SaaS, enterprise technology, civic technology or digital government solutions.
• An understanding of government sales cycles, stakeholders and procurement environments.
• Experience prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
• Confidence communicating with senior and operational government stakeholders by phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Strong research skills and the ability to turn information about a prospective customer into a relevant conversation.
• Experience working with CRM and sales engagement tools.
• A track record of working towards and achieving activity, pipeline or opportunity targets.

Experience within permitting, planning, land management, building approvals, GIS, regulatory technology or municipal software would be particularly valuable.
