There is also a Zigbee stack among our products and we keep improving it to gather more and more recognition from major Zigbee device vendors and it has already become an official stack for Nordic Semiconductor, MediaTek, Espressif Systems and other vendors of Zigbee hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing firmware for wireless devices and/or embedded Linux-based systems.
• Optimize code size and performance, including existing code.
• Working with our client’s team, interacting with the client directly.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development.
• Professional experience with Zigbee, including development, integration, debugging, or maintenance of Zigbee-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience developing and debugging firmware for MCUs, with experience in OS-less, RTOS, and/or Embedded Linux environments.
• Alternatively, experience with Linux development across different hardware platforms.
• Ability to independently develop and take ownership of software components while communicating effectively with other team members.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a software development team.
• Ability to understand, maintain, troubleshoot, and contribute to an existing codebase.
• Ability to design, document, and implement software subsystems independently.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and actively participate in technical meetings and discussions.
• Good technical English, both written and spoken.

Will be a Plus:

• Experience with Zephyr OS, particularly in embedded firmware development, integration, or customization.
• Experience with communication protocols at different levels, such as UART, USB, TCP, UDP, TLS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, etc.
• Experience with wireless communication technologies and networks, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Z-Wave, etc.
• Experience with embedded systems based on FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Linux, or similar platforms, including application- and/or kernel-level development.
• Experience integrating embedded devices with cloud services.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages, such as Lua, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Experience in technical team leadership or management.
• Experience optimizing code size and performance, including optimizing and refactoring existing code.
• Experience maintaining and working with a large, complex existing codebase.
• Experience with Unix-like systems administration.
• Experience working effectively with distributed or geographically dispersed development teams.
