The details: You have:

• 5–7+ years of relevant video production, journalism, digital media, broadcast, documentary, branded-content, or comparable editorial experience; additional experience may be considered at the Senior Producer level.
• Demonstrated experience producing, shooting, and editing professional video content, supported by a strong portfolio or reel.
• Strong editorial judgment, visual storytelling skills, and the ability to turn ideas into compelling finished video.
• Experience producing for YouTube and an understanding of audience development, search/discovery, retention, and platform-native storytelling.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working with on-camera talent, alongside strong writing, communication, and project-management skills.
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented approach and comfort working across distributed teams and changing priorities.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $90,000 - $140,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
