We seek a motivated, proactive, and skilled engineer to join our customer support team. This role involves working with innovative technology that helps organizations protect their key applications and assets from advanced cyber threats.

As a Senior Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading investigations on Akamai's Guardicore Micro segmentation and Zero Trust product for customers.
• Learning and gaining in-depth experience in Micro-segmentation and zero trust network security.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with large enterprise customers, serving as their primary contact for technical inquiries and issues.
• Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams.
• Analyzing technical issues and proposing solutions to prevent issues.
• Working closely with Engineering teams on customer issues.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 5+ years in enterprise-grade technical support, escalation engineering, or technical account management within cybersecurity or network infrastructure.
• Demonstrate expertise in Linux and Windows OS internals, system administration, and logging mechanisms. Solid understanding of enterprise networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls) and modern security paradigms
• Gain practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s), containerization (Docker), and effectively resolve API-related issues.
• Demonstrate scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and diagnostic workflows - nice to have
• Have prior experience serving as an Escalation Engineer working with Support engineers, R&D and QA teams.
• Demonstrate exceptional context-switching capability, balancing high-touch customer management with deep-dive technical triage under pressure.
• Executive-level communication skills to articulate complex technical issues to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
