What You Bring

Experience & Background

• 1-2+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer, preferably in SaaS, government technology, or public sector consulting.
• Experience with budgeting, accounting, forecasting, grant management, or procurement processes.
• Prior experience working with state or local governments strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Euna Grants, Euna Budget, or Euna Procurement products is an asset.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable presenting to large audiences and executive leadership.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging explanations.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative skills.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, system design, and business process mapping.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services.
• Able to travel 15–30% across North America.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of SaaS architecture, integrations, data migration, and reporting.
• Experience preparing and maintaining demonstration databases.
• Ability to support interface discussions, data conversion, and solution configuration.

Working Conditions & Culture

Summary

This unified Solutions Engineer role brings together the core responsibilities and skill sets needed to support Euna’s Budget, Grants, and Procurement solutions. It is a customer-facing, high-impact role responsible for demonstrating value, designing effective solutions, and driving successful sales cycles while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
