Role: Specialist Occupational Therapist

Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

Location: Home based, with occasional travel, and overnights.

As we expand into the tech-enabled care market, we are developing innovative solutions designed to support individuals with learning disabilities and neurodiverse conditions in living independently. We are seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapistwith expertise in learning disabilities and neurodiversity to play a vital role in shaping and delivering our new product offering.

The Job

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Product Development and Evaluation

• Provide clinical insight and guidance on the design and development of new and existing tech-enabled care products including market research and user testing.
• Create and implement an evaluation plan to review the technology and support future development.
• Lead the evaluation of deployed technologies by collecting user feedback, case studies, and success stories, and provide evidence-based input to inform future development.
• Support the design and development of services to ensure effective, person-centred delivery that meets the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and neurodiverse conditions.
• To support prescribers to make informed decisions on suitability of customers used in field trials

Support for sales strategies

• Collaborate with the business development team to enhance understanding of the health and social care landscape, including procurement processes, sector structure, and effective engagement strategies.
• Support customer-facing activities such as events, product demonstrations, prescriber training, and service delivery.
• Act as a strategic voice within the team, helping shape direction and focus through your clinical and sector expertise.
• To liaise with relevant bodies in social and healthcare agencies and provide accurate reports on the service relevance and acceptance.

Creating and supporting of marketing materials and strategies

• Create engaging, informative marketing content including thought-leadership pieces, leaflets, posters, and other collateral.
