Who We Are

We are a growing US tax and technology company combining expert tax services with AI and automation. We are looking for a CPA with US tax experience to join our AI team and help train and improve our AI technology.

The US Tax Analyst position at Gelt requires working GMT (UK) hours 5 days per week and is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze US individual and business tax returns.
• Label and organize tax data for AI training.
• Review tax documents and identify relevant information.
• Check AI-generated results for accuracy and provide feedback.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and unusual tax situations.
• Work closely with the AI team to improve the quality and accuracy of our data.
• Help create and improve data-labeling guidelines and processes.

Requirements

• CPA – required
• Minimum 3 years of US Tax experience – required
• Strong understanding of US tax returns, forms, and schedules.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Very detail-oriented and organized.
• Quick learner and comfortable learning new technology.
• Able to work independently and take ownership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CCH, ProConnect, UltraTax, or GoSystem.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Previous experience with AI, data labeling, data annotation, or data quality.
• Startup or technology company experience.
